Roderick Davies, DDS, is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Board of Oral Implantology, as well as the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He enjoys taking continuing education courses and always looks for opportunities to advance his clinical skills and better serve his patients.

Dr. Davies retired from the US Army in 2019. He is married and has five children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, painting, and spending time with his family.

April Davies is a passionate and dedicated registered dental hygienist with a mission to help people achieve their best oral health. She discovered her love for dentistry when she was just 19 years old, while working as a dental assistant during her college summers. She was pursuing a healthcare degree at the time and realized that the field of dentistry resonated with her deeply, as she saw firsthand the difference great oral health can make in people’s lives.

This experience inspired her to pursue a career in dental hygiene, and she enrolled in the program at Utah Valley University.Since then, April has earned additional certifications in anesthesia and laser treatment, and is a proud member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. However, her greatest reward comes from the positive impact she has on her patients. She loves hearing their stories, connecting with them, and helping them achieve their goals for better oral health. For April, being a dental hygienist is not just a job, but a calling to serve others.

In addition to her work as a hygienist, April is also an active member of her community in Tampa, where she lives with her family. She loves the variety of activities available, from sports teams to cultural events, and appreciates how friendly and welcoming the people are. For April, settling in Tampa has been a true blessing for her and her family, and they are grateful to call it home.

Dr. Mike to pursue a similar path. However, he also recognized the challenges many patients face in receiving conventional dental treatment. This realization motivated him to seek ways to enhance the dental experience, making it more relaxed, comfortable, and safe for all individuals. During his exploration, Dr. Mike discovered the field of dental anesthesia, which became his driving force.

With five years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Mike specializes in Dentist Anesthesiology. His expertise lies in providing sedation and general anesthesia for dental procedures, ensuring patients receive the highest level of comfort and care during their treatments. Dr. Mike is proud of his unique role as the only Dentist Anesthesiologist in Tampa.

He offers sedation and anesthesia services directly within our dental office, providing convenience and specialized patient care. What Dr. Mike enjoys most about practicing dentistry is the opportunity to work with patients who have struggled with maintaining their dental health due to anxiety, fear, PTSD, or other reasons. His ability to provide sedation allows these patients to regain their oral health, and witnessing their transformation is incredibly rewarding for him.

Dr. Mike's dedication and contributions to dentistry have been recognized through various achievements. He has been published in national journals, sharing his expertise on sedation and patient safety, and he also lectures internationally on these topics. In addition, Dr. Mike holds professional affiliations and memberships with organizations such as the American Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, and the Dental Patient Safety Foundation.

Giving back to the community is very important to Dr. Mike. He has actively volunteered his services at Mission of Mercy, Remote Area Medicine, and participated in numerous service trips worldwide, providing free dental care to those in need. Dr. Mike's philosophy on patient care is rooted in the belief that everyone should enjoy their dental experience. He places great value on establishing a strong connection with his patients and strives to ensure their comfort and education regarding anesthesia treatments.
